TESOL combined

In an effort to offer a course option to suit every situation, we have a combined TESOL course that is a mix of online and in-class training. Initially you complete the theory side of the course online and then attend a training center to complete your observed teaching practice classes. The combined TESOL course is the equal of the in-class version as it covers all the same material. However, the material is presented by experienced tutors during the in-class course rather than in a self-study format as in the online section of the combined course. The interaction that the in-class version provides makes it more suitable for anyone who is not comfortable with the idea of distance learning.Successful completion of the combined TESOL course results in the exact same certification as the 4-week, in-class TESOL course. The initial online section of the combined course has 20 individual units that cover all the most important TESOL subjects such as teaching methodologies, grammar awareness, and lesson planning. Each unit is concluded by completing a short assessment to test your understanding before you move onto the following unit. Once you have worked through the 20 units, you then submit a lesson plan that will be assessed by an online tutor.

You like to take it slow?

TESOL online

Our accredited, online TEFL/TESOL course connects online training with a teaching practicum. First, you study the principles and theories of how to teach English online at your own pace. After completion of the theory part, you might then attend one of our training centers for eight days of practical teaching of actual EFL/ESL students. The program comprises 170 hours. Adding the free specialization, the program hours amount to 220. This course is ideal for those people who wouldn’t be able to participate in an onsite or a combined TEFL/TESOL course but would like to get real teaching practice (something a lot of schools want to see, especially when they pay in the upper salary range). And there are a lot of countries out there that actually require proof of the teaching practicum to be able to issue a work visa.As the online TEFL/TESOL Course contains only eight days of attendance at a TEFL training center, it is also more suited to those who aren’t able to learn how to teach English in a four-week, onsite TEFL/TESOL course for various reasons–whether it be the budget or lost hours at a job. The online TEFL course features the same training components as the four-week onsite program and results in 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification. Just like the in-class training, the online program is credit bearing. If you wish to continue to an MA in Education, you can do so.
